How would you like to be introduced on stage?
Beverley Thompson is an idealistic and compassionate individual that values relationships, authenticity, and inclusivity. Throughout her life, she has empowered others through her actions and has developed relationships in every array of life. She has a diverse understanding of the world that is derived from various perspectives, materials, and ideas. Her dedication and love towards the environment and people often supersedes her own needs. She is always there to lend a hand, an ear, or even a piece of worldly knowledge.
Why did you decide to participate in CNI's Learn / Hustle / Grow summer program?
The #1 reason I decided to participate in this program is because I saw a vision of a collective group of individuals persevering through difficulties and creating a more sustainable and resilient Indiana.
What might we accomplish together this summer?
I can imagine a sustainable planet for our generation and future generations. I can imagine a world that is inclusive and compassionate toward everyone regardless of their race, gender, and/or wealth. This summer I believe we can spread carbon neutrality throughout the state of Indiana. I believe that we will all be able to grow and learn from each other and change the way people perceive climate change. I believe we can spark real climate action through Indiana and serve as an example to other states.
